after my search over 25 years to know Africa beyond my past experiences as a native, on board various means of transport either 4wd or without overlanding almost all over Africa but still I was missing something that I could not unfold; as well seeing to be nearly on my 60 years of age. So I had to hurry, on my last trial now in a solitary journey by bicycle not as a tourist but researcher (without the 'safeness' behind the glass window of the cabins):- 2003 from Lugano-CH through North-West Africa - Central Africa to East Africa with final 2005 at Lamu / KENYA = 18,000 km in 18 months... the result? I feel that I have found an unknown part of myself while seeing & feeling obscure side of Africa more positive way that I did not know existed.- is in Italiano.-
