Giusepe Di ClementeIs undertaking a personal challenge for peace in Somalia, together with Somali fraternity and justice lovers. We do condemn the resentment and pain, chaos and looting's, continuous violence and raping, plus more than unbelievable barbaric facts in our Motherland. For fifteen years of civil war have relocated the catastrophe of the infrastructure of life and land;… caused by tribalism and many other cases of the political world and money gamblers. Brothers and sisters;
the Somali Goodwill Preacher for Peace
It's at least time to learn from the bitter lessons of brutality that made us undergo: obligatory migration, violence, hatred, mistrust, fear, deadly devastation etc. which have beset Somalia. Where is our nation's dignity, where is the brotherly love, peace, security, order, human rights etc.? Of course, we have lost a lot. Disaster has befallen us. Children orphaned, women widowed, youth disabled etc. The country is in flame. Boys and girls have no future. Look back at the misery and indignation of the Somali's in and out of the land. Think of those drowned, of those killed by wild beast or the one's who perished in the Sahara, plus the many that have died of hunger and thirst; all while fleeing from home and seeking surviving asylum. God has given Somalia…
a wonderful country, but what has happened to it over the last quarter of this century? Drought, the loss of livestock, deforestation, dumping of chemical waste and toxic in our seas and in every square km of the land .- You can't end a war by fighting. You can't end hatred by hating your brothers, sisters and other beings. Only through forgiving and love each other we can end this massacre and murders. Lets forget the ugly events of the war. We must use our efforts to end the tears of our children, our people's misery and our beloved country destruction. Let's put behind us what happened and restore hope with peace and togetherness, and let's begin to rebuild our country and dignity. Stop the tribalism sides curses!!!
we must hurry, TIME is living us behind. Remember… even the smallest possibility is better than the nothingness we are in it. WE ALL! have a heavy duty and responsibility. It is time to work together, to lead each other and the country towards reconciliation, peace, development and good governance… and not against each other. To the International community.
Thanks to those who have given financial and moral support and humanitarian assistance to the 'remaining' Somalia. We appeal to the International community to help Somalia by restoring stability and security and to establish peaceful reconciliation, reasonable development with good governance. The international community should! condemn the chemical contamination in Somalia.In conclusion: Take and give, forget and forgive.
All these painful tragedies prompted me, by living a heroic life …without being a hero, which will help to highlight the plight of my people. As native Guiseppe Di Clemente, born and raised in Somalia by an Italian father and Somali mother, an oldie of 58 years, waving on the bike our 'little' Somali flag all the way cycling from Switzerland across north, west, central to east Africa for seventeen months = 17000km, And from Nairobi will go on pedalling via Garrissa to Kismayo, Mogadishu, Gaalkacayo, Boosaaso, Hargeysa, Djibouti, Addis Ababa, through Zone Five and back to Mogadishu. For sake of promoting peace in my Motherland Somalia. By any means I will not stop my bicycle journey around the world; until real peace is restored in Somalia.
