DAY 1 SAT WINDHOEK - WATERBERG
Depart from Windhoek and travel north to Otjiwarongo. After a short stop for a light lunch (for own account), drive to the Cheetah Conservation Fund to take part in a short safari. There will be excellent photo opportunities and the opportunity to learn a lot about the fastest cats in the world. In the afternoon proceed to the Waterberg Plateau Mountain - a table mountain with an extraordinary plant variety and permanent fountains. Overnight in tents near the Waterberg. [D]

DAY 2 SUN WATERBERG
In the morning, hike onto the Waterberg Plateau which rises about 200m from the plains. Enjoy the splendid views into the vast Kalahari Sandveld. Relax after lunch. In the afternoon, take part in a nature drive in this privately owned Park (in open vehicles). Overnight in tents near the Waterberg. [BLD]

DAY 3 MON WATERBERG - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast travel to a lodge near the Etosha National Park. Game drive into the Etosha Park in the late afternoon. Overnight near Etosha National Park. [BD]

DAY 4 TUES ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Leave early and explore the various waterholes along the enormous Etosha saltpan. Encounter the big variety of wild life in the Park. Depart late afternoon. Overnight near Etosha National Park. [BD]

DAY 5 WED ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK - BRANDBERG
Head south and drive past Outjo and Khorixas to the nearby Petrified Forest. Light lunch (for own account) at Khorixas. Arrive at a campsite near the Brandberg Mountain in the afternoon. Overnight in tents near Brandberg. [BD]

DAY 6 THURS BRANDBERG
Leave early in the morning and walk to the famous rock painting site of the White Lady in the Brandberg (about 2 hours walk). After lunch there is the opportunity to go for a swim or relax under the shady Ana-Trees in the Ugab River. In the afternoon, drive along the river bed in search for the desert-dwelling elephants that often roam in the area. Overnight in tents near Brandberg. [BLD]

DAY 7 FRI BRANDBERG - SWAKOPMUND
Head towards the coast and visit a Cape Fur seal colony at Cape Cross. Arrive at Swakopmund in the early afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure (unguided). Overnight in guest house in Swakopmund [BD]

DAY 8 SAT SWAKOPMUND (UNGUIDED)
Explore Swakopmund at leisure and enjoy some of the many optional activities (for own account): Visit to the aquarium, museum or crystal gallery; join the Living Desert Tour or a guided tour to the township Mondesa; undertake a scenic flight over Skeleton coast or a catamaran or boat cruise in Walvis Bay. Overnight in guest house in Swakopmund [B]

DAY 9 SUN SWAKOPMUND - SOSSUSVLEI
Head south and visit the renowned lagoon at Walvis Bay. After an interesting drive through the solitaire gravel plains of the Namib Desert, arrive at the campsite in the late afternoon. Overnight in tents near the Namib Naukluft Park [BD + LP]

DAY 10 MON SOSSUSVLEI
Start early to Sossusvlei. 4x4 scenic drive into the heart of the Namib Dunes. Visit Sesriem Canyon before enjoying the last evening under the beautiful Namibian sky. Overnight in tents near the Namib Naukluft Park [BLD]

DAY 11 TUES SOSSUSVLEI - WINDHOEK
Depart after breakfast and drive through the Khomas Hochland to Windhoek, arriving around lunch time. The tour ends with a drop off at your Windhoek hotel. [B]
