ITINERARY:
DAY 1 SOUTH AFRICA, CEDERBERG MOUNTAIN REGION
- After a short stop to view Table Mountain we drive north to the Cederberg region. In the afternoon (weather permitting) we go on a guided walk to see Bushmen paintings and learn about the native fauna and flora.

DAY 2 NAMAQUALAND ORANGE/GARIEP RIVER
- Today we travel to the Gariep/Orange River. We spend the night under the stars and sit at the campfire getting to know each another.

DAY 3 NAMIBIA ORANGE/GARIEP RIVER - FISH RIVER CANYON
- You can choose between a morning o n the riverbank or the half -day canoe on the river. After lunch we travel north to the Fish River Canyon. Optional Activities: Orange/Gariep River Half Day Canoe Adventure.

DAY 4 NAMIB-NAUKLUFT NATIONAL PARK
- From the Fish River Canyon we continue into the remote hinterland. We arrive at camp in the afternoon and enjoy a short hike at Sesriem Canyon.

DAY 5 SOSSUSVLEI DUNES - NAMIB-NAUKLUFT NATIONAL PARK
- We wake before dawn so we can hike up Dune 45 and watch the sunrise. After breakfast we join a local expert on a guided tour explaining the desert ecosystem.

DAY 6/7 SWAKOPMUND
- Today we cross the Tropic of Capricorn (where we stop for a photo) on our way to Namibias Atlantic coast. In Swakopmund you will be briefed on the optional activities available here. Day 8 is free for you to explore the town or try one of the many adventure activities. Optional Activities: Quadbiking, Sandboarding, Sky Diving, Dolphin Cruise, Scenic Flights, Fishing etc.

DAY 8 SPITZKOPPE
- We leave all the trappings of modern life behind us and drive inland to the mysterious Spitzkoppe. Tonight we camp in the wild.

DAY 9 HIMBA TRIBES
- After some early morning exploration we continue inland and drive towards Kamanjab. The Himba are a pastoral people and predominantly breed cattle or goats, they are easily recognisable by their unique style of dress.

DAY 10/11 ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
- Etosha NP is the venue for some of the most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. We will go on various game drives, and spend our evenings at the abundant water holes for some excellent game photography.

DAY 12 WINDHOEK
- After an early morning game drive we set off towards Windhoek in the centre of Namibia. On the way we stop at a popular craft market. In the afternoon we go on a short city tour. Optional Activities: Dinner out at Joes Beer House.

DAY 13 BOTSWANA, GHANZI
- It is a scenic drive to the Buitepos border, where we cross into Botswana. Once at camp we will meet with a local Bushmen community and experience some traditional Tribal Dancing.

DAY 14/15/16 MAUN OKAVANGO DELTA
- Another early day! Our journey takes us from Ghanzi towards Maun. We spend the night here and prepare for our two night bush-camping experience. Your guides will provide you with a briefing about the next few days activities and the community run tourism operation. From here we will enter the Delta using local transport. If the water level allows we will take a mokoro
(traditional canoe) trip a well as a nature walk with the local people.

DAY 17 GWETA
- We leave the Delta behind us and travel east to Gweta, which is located halfway between Maun and Nata, near the Makgadikgadi Pans NP.

DAY 18 CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
- When we arrive at Kasane we set up camp on the bank of the Chobe River. The afternoon is spent game viewing from a boat in the Chobe NP. This is an excellent opportunity to view Africas spectacular wildlife. You will have the chance to experience an early morning game drive the following day.

DAY 19 ZIMBABWE - VICTORIA FALLS
- On arrival in Victoria Falls we have time to plan the next days adventure activities before we visit the spectacular Victoria Falls NP and experience the thundering of the mighty Zambezi. The popular optional sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks.
Optional Activities: Chobe morning game drive, Zambezi Sunset Cruise

DAY 20 VICTORIA FALLS
- Most people will spend the day White Water Rafting, a not-to-be-missed experience of a lifetime! Vic Falls offers many exciting alternatives. Optional Activities: White Water Rafting, Bungee Jump, Elephant Excursion, Dinner out.

DAY 21 VICTORIA FALLS TO PALAPYE / MARTINSDRIFT (BOTSWANA)
- Departure is at 6.00 am from Savanna Lodge. It is a long and uneventful drive through Botswana to Palapye, or the border at Martinsdrift, where we will spend the night.

DAY 22 PALAPYE / MARTINSDRIFT TO JOHANNESBURG (SOUTH AFRICA)
- Another 6.00 am departure will ensure that we cover the next 450 - 550 km and get to Johannesburg as early as possible.

DAY 23/24 SWAZILAND HLANE ROYAL NATIONAL PARK
- We depart Johannesburg and travel through scenic Mpumalanga until we reach Swaziland. Crossing into the country we enter Hlane Royal NP which is home to lion, elephant, white rhino and diverse birdlife. The 30,000 hectare Nature Reserve has a wide variety of optional activities available. Optional Activities: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Game Drives, Lion Tour.

DAY 25/26 MOZAMBIQUE PRAIA DO TOFO
- Today we will leave Swaziland behind us and cross into Mozambique. We will be travelling north beside the ocean and experience beautiful coastal scenery. In the late afternoon we arrive at our camp for the next two nights. There are many optional activities on offer in this small town, and Tofo is home to some of the best scuba diving on the east coast of Africa. There is also
plenty of time to relax on the beautiful beaches. Optional Activities: Snorkelling, Fishing, Scuba Diving and Surfing.

DAY 27/28/29 VILANCULO - BAZARUTO ARCHIPELAGO
- We depart Praia do Tofo and drive north to Vilanculos. The next day we sail on a dhow (traditional boat) to the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago where we relax by snorkeling or soaking up the sun. Whale Sharks are often seen gliding through the clear, warm waters of the Indian Ocean. We return to Vilanculos on Day 7 and can enjoy a number of optional activities like horse
riding or snorkeling. Optional Activities: Snorkelling, Horse Riding

DAY 30/31 INHAMBANE
- Driving south through beautiful coconut plantations, we pass through the old European settlement of Inhambane. In the early afternoon we arrive at our campsite, right on the beach. The following day is free to soak up the sun, swim or partake in the varied optional activities available here. Optional Activities: Scuba Diving, Horse Riding, Quad Biking, Snorkeling, Fishing,
Boat Cruise.

DAY 32 MAPUTO
- From Inhambane we drive further south to the bustling capital city, Maputo. We arrive in the afternoon and have time to explore this truly African city. Maputo is currently undergoing a facelift as Mozambiques economy grows steadily. Highlights worth visiting are the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao, and the Central Railway Station.

DAY 33/34 SOUTH AFRICA, KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
- Today we return to South Africa to the world famous Kruger NP, where we will do our best to see Africas Big 5. The Kruger NP is the most famous nature conservation area in the world. It is roughly 36,800 square kilometers in size and was founded by South Africas first president Paul Kruger. Two nights are spent in this magnificent area enjoying African wildlife. Informative
dawn game walks and night drives (accompanied by a ranger) are offered as an optional extra. Optional Activities: SANP Night Drive and Dawn Game Walks.

DAY 35 CHEETAH BREEDING CENTRE
- We depart Kruger today and visit a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. Many of Africas beautiful birds and wildlife can be seen up close. We camp for the night in the heart of the Panorama Route.

DAY 36 JOHANNESBURG
- We will be travelling along the Panorama Route stopping at Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd largest canyon in the world. Breathtaking view points include Gods Window. The Bourkes Luck Potholes are the fascinating results of erosion caused by the River and make for some wonderful photographs. The tour ends on arrival in Johannesburg. As the arrival time can vary greatly we do not
recommend any onward travel arrangements are made. Johannesburg has many excellent restaurants and the groups often spend this evening together. Optional Activities: Dinner out.
